I had to tame my love for you.
Like a feral beast, it wakes up sometimes,
lesser and lesser now,
and breaks me in pieces.
I have to kneel and wait
for it to calm down,
eyes on fire and thunders in its mouth.
I’ve been scared and freezed
I’ve tried to close my eyes and breathe,
just breathe all the love and all the pain out,
to make it a whiff of stars.
